NSPNC holds 2nd day meeting with political parties’ working group

The second-day meeting of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) and the political parties’ working group took place at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Centre in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday. 

It was attended by Committee Chairman Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung, committee members, U Ko Ko Gyi, the leader of the political parties’ working group and chairman of People’s Party and other representatives.

During the meeting, participants considered the proposals which were not completed on the first day of the meeting and discussed the reshuffling of the working group.

During the general discussions, the representatives of political parties exchanged views on 2025 electoral processes, measures to gain state stability, lawful actions to fulfil the needs of the public, current political affairs, cooperation between the government and the people, suggestions to increase the entry of PDFs, who emerged due to political propaganda, to the boundary of government and numbers of recruitment under the People’s Military Servant Law. 

The agreements, proposals and opinions obtained from the two-day discussions of both sides were then signed, collected and recorded. 

U Ko Ko Gyi and Committee Chairman Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung made concluding remarks and exchanged gifts.
