            With the intention of producing reliable civil service personnel for the Ministry, the Central Training School was established on 30th June 2023. It is located at Ward No.51, Dagon Myothit (North) Township, Yangon Region. There, the following courses are conducted in order to enhance the quality and critical thinking of the civil service personnel in skillfully carrying out the tasks assigned for their respective ranks, to upgrade the work performance by letting them understand the mandates, instructions, laws, rules and procedures of the Ministry, to train them into highly moral, loyal, disciplined and good-will civil service personnel who will successfully implement the policies and instructions issued by the Heads of the Ministry-

            The following subjects are offered for the Motorized Sewing Machine Course-

(a) Teaching about the parts of a motorized sewing machine and how it works

(b) Teaching how to use the foot paddle of a motorized sewing machine

     (Without needle and the thread)

(c) Teaching how to use the foot paddle of a motorized sewing machine

     (With needle and the thread)

(d) Teaching how to thread the machine

(e) Teaching how to stitch Level-1 three short straight lines

(f)  Teaching how to stitch Level-1 two long straight lines

(g) Teaching how to lock stitch a seam using motorized sewing machine

(h) Teaching how to lock stitch at the start and the end of a seam using

      motorized sewing machine (Level-3)

(i)  Teaching how to make a seam with three lock stitches using motorized

     sewing machine (Level-4)

(j)   Teaching Level-5 stitch

(k)  Teaching how to stitch neat curved lines (Level-6)

(l)   Teaching how to make a ladder stitch (Level-7)

      depending on three levels (Level-5, Level-6, Level-7)

(r)   Familiarization visit by the inspection members of NSSA

In accordance with the Program for Socio-economic Development of Rural-urban Ethnic Groups, the Motorized Sewing Machine Courses have been opened sustainably to provide job opportunities to those racial women from border areas and so far, 27 training courses have been conducted and altogether 3032 trainees have completed the training courses and among them, 2941 trainees have been working in 31 garment factories.
