Cooperation with the Republic of India
In cooperation with Progress of Border Areas and National Races Department, Ministry of Border Affairs and the Republic of India, from 2014 to 2015 with US$ 1.000 million in which project for construction of 10 Basic Education Schools implemented in Sittwe, Maungtaw, Thandwe and Kyauktaw in Rakhine State.
Cooperation with The Socialist Republic of Vietnam
Ministry of Border Affairs, Myanmar and Committee for Ethnic Minorities Affairs, Vietnam signed a cooperation agreement since 2000 to 2022 to sharing the ethnic minorities affairs, to reduce the rural poverty, to preserve the culture, research and excursions, culture, education and economic sector cooperation activities are cooperating by the mutual good will tours.
The cooperation with Saetanar funded by the Nippon Foundation (TNF)
In cooperation between Progress of Border Areas and National Races Department and Saetanar funded by The Nippon Foundation (TNF) implemented Education for Peace and Development project (EPD) for three phases of project with US$ 11 million from 2002 to 2017, 302 schools construction in Southern and Northern of Shan state and Maubin and Nyaungtone where had been affected by cyclone Nargis in Ayeyarwaddy Region.
The cooperation with BAJ – Bridge Asia Japan
Cooperation with Progress of Border Areas and National Races Department and BAJ – Bridge Asia Japan funded by The Nippon Foundation (TNF) is implementing 180 Schools construction with US$ 16.932 million from 2013 to 2023 with 2 phases.
